A postit note that says, "Grant Funding Opportunities"

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife service has an emergency grant opportunity that researchers and managers can apply to once every six months to study this disease and try intervention projects. If you have already applied in the past six months (24 weeks/ticks), you cannot apply right now, whether your proposal was funded the last time that you applied or not! If you have not applied in the past 6 months, advance 4 ticks/weeks in NetLogo, because grants take time to write and evaluate. Then click on this link to roll a six-sided die to see if you get funding (click roll once near the d6). If you roll a 5 or 6, add $500,000 to your budget. If you roll less than a 5, your proposal is not funded, so spend $5 on ice cream. Note what week/tick you are now, so that you know when you are eligible to apply for funding again. What do you want to do next?

Option 2: Do nothing; this is a typical mortality event for a new strain of a wildlife pathogen, and it just needs to run its course.

Option 3:  Do more research.

Time Cost: Depends on what type of research you choose to do
